UCS Slows US Forest Service Restructuring Plans
After UCS staff, supporters, and partners called out a senseless plan for the US Forest Service to close multiple research facilities, the agency changed its language in its proposed plans, and announced at least one facility will stay open.

A lawsuit filed by UCS and other groups against the so-called Department of Government Efficiency received a ruling allowing the case to proceed, in the face of a motion from the government asking for dismissal.
