Trump Administration Backs Off Attacks on NOAA
Following sustained pressure from UCS and others, the Trump Administration backed down from threats against the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), keeping regional climate centers open.
Scientific Societies Unite
Thanks to UCS organizing, 56 scientific societies representing more than 100,000 scientists sent a letter to Congress, calling for "immediate action to protect and restore life-saving and essential scientific research."
