Heidi Smith Keenan is the Senior Associate Director of Development Finance at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she acts as a vital connector among the development and finance departments at UCS, and programs, leading the organization's grant management, restricted revenue oversight, and fundraising financial production.
Prior to UCS, Heidi held development and operations roles at other mission-driven organizations including The Center for Effective Philanthropy, World Animal Protection, and Mass General Brigham. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University and a master’s degree in animals in public policy from Tufts University.
