Tucker Taft

Tucker is Director of Language Research at AdaCore. His specialties include programming language design, advanced static analysis tools, formal methods, and parallel programming. Tucker has had board-level involvement for several decades with the Lexington Montessori School (Lexington, MA), Hawken School (Cleveland, OH), and the Jackson Laboratory (Bar Harbor, ME). He is an avid masters track and field athlete, and was a member over the past five years of two national-record-setting relay teams (4x100 and 4x400) for his age group. He is enjoying his now three grandsons, the younger two both born in 2023 to his two grown daughters. Tucker is passionate about protecting our planet, and our democracy, with evidence-based approaches as our guide
